How to stay active on your social networks as an exhibitor?

  • Provide figures on your situation, a way to stand out.

By publicly giving relevant numerical data about your company, you bring credibility to your activity. This also reinforces your values and your decision making about your product offerings. Being an exhibitor at a trade show also means putting yourself forward in relation to your competitors: social networks are a springboard for developing your visibility before and after the event.

  • Get closer to your employees: opt for interviews and presentations.

Indeed, making your employees known, or presenting your professional collaborators, is essential to be closer to your customers. On social networks, it is easy to propose a video presentation or an animation of your team. This will allow you to put a « face » on a key position in your company. When you attend the trade fair, some customers or visitors will already have a person in mind and will therefore recognise your sales staff!

  • Connect with your service providers and suppliers to develop your relationships.

By adding your supplier contacts, you will increase your professional visibility. Share your B2B partnerships and strengthen your image through generosity and solidarity.
This will enhance your identity and that of your network!

How to inform your community when a trade show is postponed or cancelled?

  • Share your news in time.

Fairs are sometimes cancelled 5 days before the start of the event, so it is important to be aware of the latest measures taken by the fair organiser. Given the current period, your community will be aware of whether or not the event is still on.

When you are unfortunately faced with a trade fair cancellation, do not hesitate to inform your customers or future visitors.

  • Stay in touch with your community’s reactions and opinions.

Social networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter or Instagram are excellent means of communication and statistics to analyse the reactions of your community. By using the comments or the different possible reactions on LinkedIn, you can get a more concrete idea of the positive or negative opinions of your followers.

To do this, you can create polls and/or open-ended questions.
